    Unravel the royal secrets of El Retiro and see some of the historic landmarks in Madrid with this private guided tour.

    Meet your guide at your hotel doorstep and head to El Retiro, Madrid’s largest city park and belonged to the Spanish royal family until the late 19th century. See a gorgeous collection of gardens, sculptures, official buildings and a pristine lake spread over 350 acres, as your guide takes you around the park and spills secrets and fascinating anecdotes about the erstwhile royal residence. You will stroll past the major highlights of the park such as the Crystal Palace, the Gate of Philip IV and the Royal Observatory.

    You will continue your tour to Paseo del Prado, where you will walk past the beautiful Prado Museum, the famous Cibeles Fountain and the impressive City Hall. Your guide will also take you to the gay district of Chueca, full of shops, bars and restaurants.

    During the course of the tour, you guide will also tell you about the LGBTQ community in Madrid focusing on its history, lifestyle and nightlife.
