    Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, El Escorial and tour its surroundings with this 4-hour private tour from Madrid.

    You will meet your guide at the hotel doorstep and head to the Monastery of El Escorial, the historical residence of the King of Spain. This wondrous complex combines a Monastery, Palace, Museum and School. El Escorial is a symbol of the Spanish Power in the 16th century and commemorates the San Quintin Battle. It is also a mausoleum for Charles V. During your visit, your guide will also visit the Hapsburg Palace, Kings and Princes Mausoleum, Chapter House and the Basilica.

    Continue your tour to San Lorenzo de El Escorial villa and see the different palaces and buildings that line the streets of the old town of the city. Your guide will also take you to Casita de Arriba gardens, which is one of the royal family’s palaces.  

    During the course of the tour, you guide will also tell you about the LGBTQ community in Madrid focusing on its history, lifestyle and nightlife.
