  • Overview

Madrid has everything for everyone and a city tour is all you need to experience the vibe of the city. A walk through the historic quarters of Madrid is a good way to introduce yourself to the city. So join an expert city guide and discover the imperial Spanish capital.

You will meet your guide at your hotel doorstep and then head to Puerto del Sol located at the heart of the city. From here, you will walk up to Calle Mayor, where some of the city’s oldest buildings like Torre de los Lujanos and palaces of the XVI and XVII centuries are situated.

Continue your tour to two of Madrid’s most beautiful squares – Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa. Spot the best examples of 11th century architecture. Mercado de San Miguel is an iconic monument to start with.

See yourself staring at the monumental fountain dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes at the centre of Plaza de España, finding your way to the Spanish Senate and the old palace of Manuel Godoy.

During the course of the tour, you guide will also tell you about the LGBTQ community in Madrid focusing on its history, lifestyle and nightlife.
